Tamiya 1/48 Hurricane Mk.IIC

The Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIC stands as one of the Royal Air Force's most iconic fighter aircraft of World War II. This legendary fighter played a crucial role in the Battle of Britain and earned its place in aviation history through versatility and firepower.

The Mk.IIC variant represents the pinnacle of Hurricane development, equipped with four powerful 20 mm Hispano-Suiza cannons mounted in the wings—a dramatic upgrade from the standard 7.7 mm machine guns. With nearly 400 rounds of ammunition, this formidable armament made the Hurricane devastatingly effective in ground attack, close support, and night fighter operations.

This Tamiya 1:48 scale plastic model kit faithfully captures the Hurricane's distinctive design and combat heritage. Perfect for scale model enthusiasts and aviation history buffs, it offers an engaging building experience with accurate detail and authentic markings from the RAF's most pivotal operational period.
