If you were to ask ten people walking the streets of Venice in any given day, not a single one would have even heard of the Guild, let alone be a member. But how many of those asked would tell a friendly face the next time they paid their membership fees? Then those would pass the word up and up and before long you'll be visited by a Capodecina and some Baronis. Asking questions in Venice is an easy way to get yourself killed.

From the lowly Citizen all the way up to the Princes of Thieves, the Guild is open to all! Provided you pay your way and keep your head down.
